\nPosition Summary<\/strong>
\nKnight Music Academy is seeking a CLASSICAL GUITAR INSTRUCTOR to join our faculty.\u00a0S\/he will serve as an integral member of our program team. Responsibilities include:<\/p>\n

\n
• Provide weekly private Traditional and\/or Suzuki guitar lessons for ages 5 years\u00a0through adult at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels of study<\/li>\n
• Teach weekly group guitar classes (Suzuki only)<\/li>\n
• Attend faculty and curriculum meetings<\/li>\n
• Attend student recitals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n

  \n
  • Minimum of B.A. or B.M. in guitar performance or B.S. or B.M.E. with guitar\u00a0concentration; Master\u2019s Degree preferred<\/li>\n
  • Minimum of book 1 Suzuki training, or willingness to obtain training, a plus<\/li>\n
  • One or more years of experience in teaching guitar<\/li>\n
  • Appreciation for the importance of music education<\/li>\n
  • Willingness to embrace parent participation and empowerment<\/li>\n
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Knight Music Academy faculty and management staff<\/li>\n
  • Exceptional teaching and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Status, Compensation, and Benefits<\/strong>
