Adult Beginning Group Guitar Class
No previous experience necessary! An experienced instructor will guide you through the basics of guitar playing: how to hold the instrument, read music, develop left and right hand technique and more! These 45-minute classes meet weekly for an 11-week term. All students will be required to purchase a book and should have their own guitar. Tuition: $220 plus registration fee. Materials extra.
Fall Class Schedule: Monday 7:15 PM and Thursday 5:30 PM.
Semi-Private Music Lessons
For the cost-conscience consumer, or for those looking to do something extra-special with a buddy, these 30-minute lessons are structured for two students of similar age and level of ability. Classes meet weekly and are designed for students ages 11 to adult. No previous experience necessary. Excludes piano. Cost: $275 per person plus registration fee and materials.
Adult Flute and Guitar Ensemble
A wealth of music has been composed or arranged for this pairing of instruments. Participants should be competent note readers, and at a intermediate level of competency on their instrument. Adult Chamber Music Class
Calling all violin, viola, cello and bass-playing adults! This 11-week course is for you! You’ll enjoy making beautiful music with other adults in this 45-minute class. Mini-Mozarts Early Childhood Music Classes (Spanish/English)
Using the same methodologies and educational elements that our original Mini-Mozarts class utilizes, this bilingual 45-minute class engages students ages 2-4 through song, chant and rhyme in English and Spanish. Emergent literacy is also addressed in this class through use of age-appropriate books. Use of movements, props, and instruments make the class come to life. Snacks/beverages from Spanish-speaking cultures provided at the end of some classes. Tuition: $145 plus registration fee.
